Meal Preparation and getting nutrition is a large part of our daily care.  Sometimes as we age, we forget about eating and drinking; this can cause mental confusion, low blood sugar, and many other issues resulting in a fall or the need for medical attention.  Staying hydrated and receiving proper nutrition consistently helps to avoid future problems.

We encourage fluids and meals, even if it’s a snack, to increase the appetite.  Frequent small meals or three large meals a day with snacks make the difference and ensure the intake of vitamins and minerals needed to remain healthy.
